The Performance Management Association (PMA) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy outlines our personal information handling practices for both online and offline data. If you give us personal information, we will treat it according to this policy. This policy covers the PMA website (www.performanceportal.org) and the materials posted on it. We encourage you to read this privacy policy.

The PMA’s website is maintained for your personal use and viewing. Access and use by you of this site constitutes acceptance by you of these terms and conditions that take effect from the first date of use. The PMA reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time by posting changes online.

Collection of your Personal Information
The PMA collects personally identifiable information during the registration process, such as your e-mail address, name, home or work address or telephone number. PMA also collects anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as your ZIP/post code, gender, and profile.  There is also information about your computer hardware and software that is automatically collected. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring Web site addresses. This information is used by PMA for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of www.performanceportal.org.

If you are a user with general public and anonymous access the PMA's web site does not store or capture personal information, but merely logs the user's IP address that is automatically recognised by the web server.

Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through PMA on public message boards, this information may be collected and used by others. PMA encourages you to review the privacy statements of Web sites you choose to link to from PMA so that you can understand how those Web sites collect, use and share your information. Data Protection
The PMA is a privacy conscious organisation and is committed to your privacy rights. We always try to make it clear what we are going to use your personal data for. We will only collect data that is necessary to provide you with services you have requested. If you want to know more, please email pma@performanceportal.org. The PMA is also committed to the principles of the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations of 2003 whereby permission will be sought before electronic marketing communications are sent out to individuals from the PMA - however if the individual has consented to receiving electronic communications from the PMA by giving us their e-mail address the PMA will from time to time send out relevant information to the recipient (e-newsletters, news, information from selected third parties that we deem may be of interest to members etc in support of the PMA’s aims and objectives.)  On occasion, PMA may provide limited data to third parties that offer products and services for the profession. These limited data are for one time use and only include names and mailing addresses and email addresses.  They do not include phone numbers. Users may request to opt out of the data in these instances by contacting pma@performanceportal.org. Upon request, PMA will use commercially reasonable efforts to functionally delete a member and his or her personal information from its database; however, it may be impossible to delete a member's entry without some residual information because of backups and records of deletions.

You are entitled to know whether we hold information about you and, if we do, to have access to that information and require it to be corrected if it is inaccurate. You can do this by contacting PMA via email at pma@perforamnceportal.org.
